Fox Valuations’ Den release: an assistant that creates clients and jobs
Every Fox valuation runs through The Den, from the instruction and the inspection to the report and the invoice. The release also puts the sketch pad and the job side by side on a tablet.

An assistant that logs new work
A valuer can hand the assistant a new instruction and have the client and the job created in one step, with the client’s email, phone and ABN, and the fee worked out with its GST.
Before it creates a client, the assistant checks Clients for the same email, ABN or name and creates nothing until a match is ruled out. Every change is recorded against the person who asked for it.
More the assistant can do
The same connection handles the follow-up work on a job already logged.
- Move a job’s status and set its dates
- Mark a duplicate, or cancel a job with the reason recorded
- Read the invoice, and set or correct the fee before it is invoiced
Built for the tablet
On a tablet The Den runs in two panes, with the sketch pad’s tools in a side column and palm rejection for pen work. Walls can run on the diagonal, with areas and lengths worked out on the true line.
A shape, a room or a whole job can be copied, and a job copy brings its photographs and sales evidence across when they are ticked.
What The Den runs
Fox Valuations' practice system, taken over and rebuilt as The Den on dedicated Australian infrastructure, live since 26 August 2026. The Den runs jobs, clients, inspections, invoicing, reports, sketch PDF export and job fees.
It connects to Xero for invoicing and to Microsoft 365 for sign-in, mail and calendar.
What comes next
The Den for iPhone, iPad and Android is next: the same system in a native app, with Microsoft sign-in and files saved straight to the device, delivered to Fox staff devices through the firm’s device management.
Tested on every release
Every Den release ships behind its full suite: 9,340 tests on 21 October 2026, up from 1,833 at go-live.
